The 26th Tsinghua University Education Symposium's "Interdisciplinary Talent Development Scheme" seminar was held at Tsinghua SEM. More than 80 representatives from Tsinghua's schools, departments, and offices attended the seminar.

The Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management hosted its 2022 Undergraduate Opening Ceremony on August 18, 2022. The 244 undergraduate freshmen who make up the Class of 2026 attended the event both online and in person.

LIU Tracy Xiao, a tenured associate professor at Tsinghua SEM, has been elected as a member of ESA, becoming the first professor-scholar from the Chinese mainland to hold such a position.

In the 2022 spring semester, Professor MA Hong from the Tsinghua SEM taught international economics for Tsinghua University's Global Hybrid Class project. His course attracted many students from China and several other countries. 

The ceremony was held at the SEM New Buildings palace on June 26. Graduates and faculty members attended the event, which was conducted by BAI Chong-En, dean of the school. Organizers broadcasted the ceremony online.

Keng Hsu, an Australian Chinese, participated in the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA Program. Hsu was born in Taiwan and moved to New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, and Singapore over the last 35 years. 

Professor MA Xufei from the Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the Tsinghua SEM has accepted an appointment as the area editor of the highly regarded Journal of International Business Studies.
