Evan Greenberg, vice chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Committee on US-China Relations, a member of the Advisory Board of Tsinghua SEM, chairman and CEO of Chubb Limited/Chubb Group, engaged with more than 100 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students at Tsinghua SEM on September 23, 2024.

The opening ceremony for the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA (TIEMBA) Class of 2026 and Tsinghua SEM EMBA 2024 Cohort was held at the Tsinghua University Auditorium.

More than 100 students and faculty from Tsinghua University, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, Universidad Tecnológica de Santa María, and other Chilean universities participated. The competition received strong support from the Chinese Embassy in Chile and the Chilean Embassy in China.

19 projects from Tsinghua SEM were approved, including 1 project in the Science Fund for Creative Research Groups, 2 projects in the NSFC for Distinguished Young Scholars, 6 general projects and 10 projects in the Young Scientists Fund.

China Center for Insurance and Risk Management at Tsinghua SEM received official notification from the International Insurance Society that its insurance program again was designated as one of Global Centers of Insurance Excellence.
