TsinghuaUniversityChinaCenterfor Financial Research (CCFR) and China Finance Online Co. Ltd. have announced strategic cooperation onSeptember 19, 2007. The two sides announced that they would jointly develop a world leading research platform through close cooperation in areas including finance database, talents training, products research and development and investor training, etc. to promote the reform and development of China’s finance industry.

At the press conference held in the day,ChinaFinance Onlineannounced it would make a donation worth RMB 10 million to CCFR, including 3 million RMB and a package worth 7 million which includes financial data and financial research terminals

Meanwhile, Professor Wang Jiang, Director of CCFR and Professor Liao Li, Executive Vice Director of CCFR were invited to be “strategic consultants” of China Finance Online Company.

The launching ceremony of strategic cooperation was attended by Professor He Jiankun, Executive Vice President ofTsinghuaUniversity, Qi Bin, Director of the Research Center of China Securities Regulatory Commission, Professor Qian Yingyi, Dean of Tsinghua SEM, Professor Song Fengming, Co-director of CCFR, Professor Liao Li, Associate Dean of Tsinghua SEM and Executive Vice Director of CCFR, Xiong Xiaoge, Global Executive Deputy President and Asia President of IDG,Zhao Zhiwei, Chief Executive Officer of China Finance Online, Wang Wei, Vice President of China Finance Online, and Chen Jiafu, President of Shenzhen Juling Information Corporation.
