The China Retail Research Center (CRRC) held its first Executive Committee meeting in Shunde Building at the School of Economy and Management (SEM) of Tsinghua Univ. on April 20, 2005.

Highlights of the meeting had been the recent progress report and the 2005 Draft Budget from Mr. LI Fei and the presentation of Work Plan for 2005 from Mr. WANG Gao, which obtained the affirmative approval by the CRRC Executive Committee.

The Committee also visited CRRC office after the meeting.

Among CRRC Executive Committee members are Mr. CHEN Guoqing (as Presider), Executive Associate Dean and Professor of SEM, Mr. LI Fei, Associate Prof of SEM, Mr. WANG Gao, Associate Prof. of SEM, Mr. Rene Mang, CEO of Wal-Mart China, Mr. James Lee, VP of Wal-Mart China, and Mr. XU Ming (as Independent Commissioner), Director of Policy Research Office under the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.
