On the morning of September 17th, the orientation for Tsinghua SEM graduate exchange students took place at Jianhua Building A503. Exchange students from around the world actively participated in the orientation. Through ice-breaking and game sessions, students had the opportunity to learn about the university and the school alongside their SEM buddies.

The representative of SEM International Office, Ms. Chen Xiaoyang (Chelsea), provided information about study and life during exchange. Ms. Guo Yongwei (Evie), the vice president of Overseas Department, introduced the responsibilities and the organizational structure of SEM graduate student union, and further discussed the responsibilities of Overseas Department. She encouraged everyone to participate in activities and events organized by the SEM graduate student union.

At the event, traditional Beijing Opera costumes were prepared for the exchange students to capture memorable photos. Many of these students were visiting China for the first time and were about to spend the upcoming semester at Tsinghua University. They also created lasting memories by wearing traditional costumes at the event.

This orientation event provided an opportunity for the incoming exchange students to experience the university and culture, and it also laid a solid foundation for future friendship.
