Dr. Shuye Lu obtained his doctorate degree in management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland in 2019. In 2014, he obtained a master's degree in quantitative methods in the social sciences (QMSS) from Columbia University. He received his MBA degree from Tsinghua University in 2013, during which he went to the Yale School of Management for exchange visit. He recieved his bachelor's degree from Renmin University of China in 2008. The courses offered by Dr. Shuye Lu include: undergraduate-level courses Organizational Behavior and Leadership Development and doctoral-level courses Frontier Research in Human Resource Management, Management Research Methods etc.

Dr. Shuye Lu's research interest focuses on the following areas: leadership and teams, employee creativity and organizational innovation, social networks and emotion management. His research has been published in top-tier academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Applied Psychology. His representative publication is listed below:
