Dr. Qi Li is an Assistant Professor of Data Science in the Computer Science Department, the Northern Kentucky University. Herresearch interests include data science, healthcare information processing, healthcare data mining, information retrieval, textmining, information extraction, machine learning, natural language processing, ontology, semantic web, etc. Dr. Li received her M.S.in Computer Science from Peking University in 2006. She got her Ph.D. degree from School of Information Science, the University ofPittsburgh in 2011 and focused on information retrieval.She was a research fellow in Cincinnati Children’s Hospital MedicalCenter, centering on medical informatics, priorto joining NKU.

【摘要】電子病曆的廣泛應用廣泛應用為我們帶來了醫療大數據的時代。如何更有效地管理、使用、應用這些數據不僅為我們帶來更多的研究課題和挑戰，也同時将會改變我們未來的生活，給我們的生活帶來利益。這個講座對美國的醫療大數據進行分析，并且通過幾個研究案例來提出醫療大數據使用的方向。首先是對大數據進行統計分析對現有的醫療提供監測作用；其次是用現有的數據進行分析，找出其中潛在的相關因素；我們還可以利用現有的數據進行學習分析，對未來的趨勢進行預測。
