【摘要】Healthcare is currently in a global crisis mode with little to suggest that existing ways of doing things will lead to long-term effectiveness. Knowledge management is a perennial issue. Fortunately, there are a number of technological innovations that can be brought to bear to affect change as well as new ways of thinking. These include support for extending traditional forms of healthcare as well as introducing new options revolving around personal empowerment with an extended view of healthcare in an integrated environment. Knowledge management is crucial in this endeavor. The purpose of this presentation is to begin a dialog that can help all of us and society move towards wellbeing and sustainable healthcare through application of technology and knowledge management in an atmosphere of enhanced quality of life.
